The purpose of the New Carlsberg Foundation’s funding for art research is to generate new research-based knowledge about art while building a connection between university and art institution research.
The New Carlsberg Foundation offers three different types of fellowships: PhD fellowships, postdoc fellowships and individual research projects. Since 2010, the New Carlsberg Foundation has awarded approx. 100 fellowships, totalling more than 130 million kroner, divided among the three categories.
One annual application deadline will be announced. Applications are accepted from 14 August 2024 with deadline 18 September 2024 at 12, noon.
